About Our Monthly Meetings...
We meet in an informal group to share concerns, problems, feelings, and successes. We are there to share or just listen.

At times, we have speakers with question & answer sessions. At other times, we discuss anything of importance to us. We are kept informed of current happenings, but the main focus is one of support for parents and friends of lesbians and gays.

This is a varied group. There are mothers and fathers of gay children, as well as brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, grandparents, spouses, and friends. Gay men and lesbian women join our meetings also.

Please feel free to ask any questions, or share any feelings of remorse, guilt, rejection, or confusion you may have. You can be sure that some of us have had those same feelings. We encourage you to exchange phone numbers or email addresses with any of our members.

We ask that you accept the challenge.

What may now seem to be the most negative thing in your life could very well turn out to be the most positive!

Because of PFLAG, we have come to know our children and life itself in a new and meaningful way. We hope you will too.

When and Where?
Date: Third Tuesday of each month (except December)
Place: The Second Floor of Laskey Library on the campus of the Scarritt-Bennett Center located at 1008 19th Avenue South.
Time: 7:00 - 8:30pm

Until a map to our meeting place is posted online, please see the note below concerning the directions:

Some folks coming for the first time have been confused by the address since it is posted on a building at the corner of 19th and Grand Avenues. SBC is a former small college campus complete with residence halls, library, chapel, etc. Coming from downtown Nashville on Broadway/21st Avenue South, you would turn left on Grand (Mellow Mushroom Pizza is on the corner) and go to the second cross street and turn right. Continue a short distance on 19th and you will see the chapel on your left. Laskey is the next building after the chapel
